@ColoredCaerus haha, thank you. I don't think my status is that high but sometimes it is hard to navigate. Moving primarily to masto has helped a lot because it offers an extra filter (folks who don't want to tolerate twitter's bullshit, which is a good indicator of either good politics or experience w/ harassment or both). It does a good job recreating my early chill twitter experiences.

Thinking a lot about a convo I had w/ Therian about how my creep sensor is always set to incredibly high, because I've gone thru so much random interaction online. The only times I've had issues are when I persistently ignored it, so it's probably something I need to pay more attention to instead of trying to power thru w/ anyone who displays interest in people turning into animals.

I beat the concierge finally and had a run so good I got to the last actual level (before the last boss) and then died. I did another run and at least beat the concierge and died in the stilt village, so now it seems like I got it down.

@fineursine I had heard from multiple folks there was footage 'from Charlottesville', which I kind of expected to be the tiki torch marches and some of the fighting, which they did include to good effect. I guess the murder footage doesn't bother some folks the way it bothers me - people were walking out of that move 100% AOK, while I was a mess.

Now I get to the first boss pretty frequently but he's so hard ;_;

Maybe I need a build that focuses on wolf trap + turret + bows........

Yo, this is a good movie but if you are going to see it IMO there should be a big trigger warning for the footage they include at the end - it contains real life footage of Heather Heyer's murder. I had steadfastly avoided seeing those clips and was super unprepared.

@sillybuppo it's successive layers of tightening details, on this one, but sometimes I'm smart enough to sketch different characters in different colors, haha.

Finally sketched the goo elf scene for Abe's book. Took a while to figure out.

@orrery I have not played dark souls, so... yeah. (I generally don't like that style of tricky 3D combat but I'm much cooler w/ tricky combat in 2D)

I just found out you can heal and restore your healing item between runs on dead cells........ I've been playing for days without that, inadvertently making it even harder......

@taki imo traveling is great for disconnecting because anytime you go overseas you can tell people you're not contactable and they generally get it.

@Fringecrow I'm not trying to stan for PayPal, (they're shitty in plenty of ways) but people thinking this policy is anything but a CYA because the legal system is a joke miss the point completely. FOSTA / SESTA only made it worse.

@Fringecrow PayPal isn't puritan - they're trying to avoid getting prosecuted for allowing payment for obscene materials. If you think America's obscenity laws are bullshit (they are) you should read up on Canada's, which are even harsher.
