@angrboda the charity I'm picking is probs the Texas civil rights project, which is not only focused on legal aid for immigrant families but also on criminal justice reform and voting rights.

Anyway, offering comms is always tricky for me because the demand is vicious and it's hard to find a system where folks don't get upset if they don't get the thing.

Not sure how I want to handle the logistics of selling the pooltoy thing - I'd like to do an auction with a reasonable, hard limit (no more crazy bidding wars that mean I feel compelled to add a bunch to the image), but the only good place for that is FA, really. I'd just sell it for a flat fee and have people submit ref sheets, but
1) I want the charity to get more money
And
2) there's also problems with that system.

@angrboda here's a cool thing about this: wegman's is also consistently rated one of the best companies to work for in the area. It's almost like if you treat your employees well and pay them decently, it improves your whole business

@angrboda I fully get that the idea of a modular body is appealing to folks with disphoria or dismorphia but like... capitalism isn't going to give you that thing without massively fucking it up.

I genuinely don't understand the enthusiasm for cyberpunk style corporate body modification in a world where when my phone's battery started to die, the company who made the phone decided the solution was to kneecap the phone in an attempt to make me annoyed enough to buy a new one. Two years ago airports were full of warning ads that were like 'hey yo this phone explodes'. I want to be a catgirl too, buds, but I'd rather my parts not explode, idk.
