@Gargron I look at UX and holistic experience. While I have my impressions, it depends if you ever wanted this to be for everyone or if you want it to be for the people who "get it" on what I would suggest. My feeling is that it's hard to understand for a newbie. I could do a write up and share via google notes if you like?

@Gargron It can vary, but visual version control tools like www.goabstract.com allow teams to see and discuss design (can be public or private). I like using InVision, because it makes style and asset handover really easy and allows prototyping to get a sense of flow. But I'm pretty flexible.

@luka@mastodon.art I think because right now, AI design is more focused on how to direct profit, and so far people repeateldy skips philosophical & ethical questions in with the mindeself "but that's not our job. we just make cool things" . Even in regular design, a lot of younger designers feel that they "have" to deliver what their boss/product manager asks. This is beginning to change.

@turion@mastodon.art Even finding the devs to toot at is hard, on github I only see programmers contributing and no structure for discussing user flow. So i'm joining the IRC channel but it seems meta to have two group chat tools

But in other apps, you get the email that says your account is deled and this email will be purged blah blah, please take a few moments to fill out this annoying form (i.e "why did you leave us?!"), here's what we're planning to relase next (i.e. "come back!").
Not total silence after asking to be deleted and being told they'll REVIEW your request.
The most common thing is to make account deletion something the user can control themselves.

@turion@mastodon.art I'm really interested to know if anyone has ever gotten confirmation of account deletion. I think they use this "we are so overloaded" to hide that these emails, names and user photos are theirs now.

@turion@mastodon.art you can buy thousands upon thousands of fake sigups on fivr. Add "server error message" and it creates a media storm that so many users have crashed the system, and real signups happen.

@turion@mastodon.art Honestly, I see mastodon as being "too hard" for the average user (i'm a product designer, btw). But a client interface that only shows federated timeline and a simpler way to share your instance link would help. There is hope.

I'm supposed to believe that designers don't throw a new brand name into google and notice a company with the same name and similar logo (if using outline?). Come on.

I refuse to download any app that thinks adding a pie chart to something is adding value.
