This year, when we cannot gather and cannot share directly, it's important for those of us who can to help others. This world is cruel, often for no sensible reason. It is up to us to be kind.
Find ways to take care of those around you. Make space in your heart and life for those who matter to you. Find ways to reach out, even if it's just to say "I thought of you."
Life is precious and fragile, but if we work together, there will be plenty for all.

This year, needs must we're doing a distributed Great Feast. Folks who have food to share will start dropping off dishes in the next hour or so, and starting around 16h00 folks who want food can start picking up meals. A few folks volunteered to drive, but so far nobody's asked for it.
Later tonight, we'll be hosting a virtual call so folks can eat together and try to rekindle a bit of the camaraderie that has made this event worth doing even after over twenty years.
