Villain originally meant "peasant", clown originally meant "peasant", clown villains are double-peasants.
Obviously words change meaning over time, but I think it's very interesting that the way we talk about heroes being noble and evil people being villains is basically an artifact of a multi-century long class war.

People complain about needless content warnings, but it can be such a fun experience too. It's like getting a little wrapped gift in your timeline that just says "doggo" and then you click to unwrap it and find out that it is, in fact, a very fine doggo.

@nicuveo I've been crossposting for years and no one ever complained. People I follow on multiple platforms crosspost too. I think that's just the way we're gonna do it maybe?
@LionsPhil I did that and found that it did not go as far as writing documentation does. Because the API is familiar to me and so I myself do the things with the API without problem. But documenting -- *explaining* the API to someone who would not know it -- lets me identify where things are hard to explain, and therefore likely don't make sufficient sense structurally and should be reworked.
Amusing observation: writing the doc for an API at the same time I'm designing the API is causing me to change the API to be easier to document. The end result of that process is a much better API.
Funny thing amid the whole trash fire, though: high-visibility hustlers live by their brand, and now the dude's brand is "incompetenced $44B down the crapper at a speed heretofore unprecedented".

One cool but maybe less-visible feature here: The "locked" setting of your account (whether followers need approval) is independent of the visibility setting for each post.
That means you can have a locked account but still make some posts public, and you can also have an unlocked account but make some posts only visible to your followers.
