@plsburydoughboy Every now & then I mean to tell u my Mr. Rogers story. I was taping it daily so my kid could watch it after day care. I was in some dissertation-writing emotional bankruptcy where I couldn’t face the project for weeks, & couldn’t talk about it w/ anyone. While it taped one day, Fred Rogers looked at the camera after Make Believe, & said “Making believe is fun. But you never know what you can really do, until you really try to do it.” I wrote for months on that.

@Gargron Some people find the beginning to be the most tedious part. You might flip to a later page with some dialogue to get a feel, then start again at the top if you like.

It’s hard to be nearsighted with the flu. You can’t wear your contact lenses because everything hurts, but then it’s hard to binge on Netflix because when you snuggle on your side the pillow is bending your frames against your head. Who among the gods will answer my complaint?

@garbados I know I've mentioned this before to someone so sorry if I'm repeating it to you, but there's a good episode of The Short Game podcast about tips for making DnD clip along faster and looser. I kept saying "OMG RIGHT?" and also got nice ideas for DMing better.
