I then stood my ground, given I’d done nothing (really) wrong, and was treated to about a twenty minute chase with the system authority, who I could not evade in my basic ship, and who had disabled all my speediest forms of travel
eventually I found safe haven on another freighter which warped into the system, laying low there before emerging and gunning it for the system’s space station and ultimately saving after about 43 extremely tense minutes haha
no lie this was maybe one of the best experiences I’ve had in a video game and it lasted most of an hour, and was all caused by a damn physics glitch

this glitchy flickering went on for about five minutes before I was suddenly out, …and came under attack by the system authorities for “attacking” the freighter 😅
(I may have fired a few rockets to see if it would unstick me, to be fair)
