transphobia
Got tagged as trans for the first time today (4 years on, I'm still assumed to be male). It was weird. I'm hard of hearing and they were using aave, which I sometimes need repeated.
At one point they asked if I was married to a man.
Having someone try to figure you out, out loud and with plenty of questions, is pretty discombobulating. Glad it didn't trigger my dysphoria, but I was so caught off guard, I wasn't able to assert any boundaries.
Mostly I just awkwardly walked away.
