does anyone have, like, an acetone lake lying around somewhere with a mean temperature below the flash point of acetone that we can use

@diodelass how big is the ring? i assume an organic solvent in a paint can isn't going to cut it.

@confusedcharlot also it's a damn lot of grease, it would probably need to be multiple cans

@diodelass well the big ass can of organic solvent used to be the solution to most of our cleaning problems. they used to come with a dip tray for immersion.

maybe an oil barrel of solvent would be more your speed.
