like a lot of ppl my age i have a couple of guitars gathering dust. whenever i try to get serious about playing them, invariably i hit an rss wall.

one thing i finally realized is that i kind of have small hands. so, today, i tuned my flattop and my tele copy down whole tone, and used a capo to shorten the scale. i think that helped quite a bit.

the other piece of the puzzle, i think, is to work out my forearms as a form of physical therapy.
