retooling my reality

i'm planning to be coming adept at something i know next to nothing about, when most days i can barely get out of bed.

i might be having an existential crisis

maybe healthcare would be more useful, but making actual machines might be more my temperament.

i'm burned out on software, so i'm hoping i can be a useful maker of things in the physical universe. my partner is worried about all the toxic masculinity in the machining trades, but it's everywhere tbh.
