transphobia
Got tagged as trans for the first time today (4 years on, I'm still assumed to be male). It was weird. I'm hard of hearing and they were using aave, which I sometimes need repeated.
At one point they asked if I was married to a man.
Having someone try to figure you out, out loud and with plenty of questions, is pretty discombobulating. Glad it didn't trigger my dysphoria, but I was so caught off guard, I wasn't able to assert any boundaries.
Mostly I just awkwardly walked away.
it would be nice to have separate containers with measured amounts of developer, blix, and stabilizer instead of having to pore from the bottles.
separate funnels, thermometers, etc, so i don't have to rinse anything until i'm done. though i might be able to get away with two: one for the developer, and one for the immersion bath.
can't sleep as i obsess about what needs to happen to develop a decent color negative.
i am, in general, kinda clumsy, so i need a lot of planning to pull off fidgety procedures. that includes trying to make sure i won't be rushed.
i going to get a bucket heater so i'm not at the mercy of newton's law of cooling to get my temps right.
