not going to apologize for the fact that i am using a locked account on masto and aggressively filtering who can follow it, having +2000 followers warps your sense of reality when it comes to social media and i don’t want to maintain that

@Aria@cybre.space i had a look at the api yesterday and this seems relatively feasible? many of the requests don’t require user auth first which is a nice change

@ticky iirc it was something with the sender address so i had to make something hacky to match mails against it and possibly the subject line otherwise i’d also get billing emails in the feed. it was specific to my mail setup but i had written this: https://github.com/samdmarshall/mailfeeder

@ticky i wrote a python script to do this and it was good up to the point where patreon did something weird to their mailings and broke my rules :(
