Bill C-6 (repealing Conservative immigration restrictions) passed Senate yesterday; going to parliament for review. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/senate-passes-bill-that-would-repeal-many-many-conservative-citizenship-changes/article34890037/

Among other things, this will reduce the physical residency requirement for citizenship to three years from four, and reinstate a provision allowing people on work and study visas to count 50% of that time towards residency.
