We have banned gab instances since day 1, just like the majority of the Mastodon instances.
To clarify this, we’ll amend our Rules.
The said user has been banned, after failing to convince her to leave with peace.
If you’re one of the first instances to de-federate us even without seeking clarification from me, then I am speechless. One advice to you: give some patience next time for whatever you’re doing.
In the push to support trans kids (something that’s always needed, btw), there is often an overflowing amount of narratives of trans adults testifying that “they always knew.”
I just want to remind all the people questioning their gender that some people always knew, but some of us didn’t. *I* didn’t. And it’s ok to be only figuring it out when you are older.
I was 35 years and 221 days old when I finally figured it out. Others have been older.
It’s never too late to make the connection.
I think this era purposefully creates a "real adult life" that's meant to stay this empty shell, so you'll always be looking to fill it with stuff they're selling.
I'm beginning to think even the concept of "an adult", as a discrete unit of humanity, is a lie. There's just us, more mature as we go. The rest is ads.
So uh, I'm homeless (person I was living with got evicted), staying with a friend's parents 1½ hours from my brand-new job, and need things like work outfits (my job has a dress code) and gas.
I'm not paid until Friday. When I start making money and have a roof over my head, I will be helping others. But for now I need some help to get through the week.
