@green I haven't heard that yet, so probably no adults directly around. (Maybe watching from the trees though.)
@emanate it's likely, even if the parents have started their second clutch they'll usually be around keeping an eye on the first batch for the rest of the summer, though the older kids are usually pretty much self-sufficient by the time September rolls around. the second batch may keep begging well into autumn, and even start trying again next spring, which is pretty hilarious. ;)
@emanate yeah, sounds like it! if the honking accelerates and sounds like they're being strangled to death in the presence of other crows, they're definitely fledglings begging/being fed by adults. XD
