Did you ever see the Mother Of Invention fiction anthology KS? Various stories of the creation pf AI by way of anything /but/ the usual cisgender heterosexual white guy. Lots of cool diverse writers involved. :-)
@taneka I live it and am in somewhat unique of a situation to help queer comics along! I work at a very queer-friendly comic book store in Seattle, and we're getting as much queer stuff as we can on the shelves, including Kickstarting books like Tabula Idem. Also supporting some of the smaller press and local comics creators.
I am pretty damn lucky and proud to be in this field. :-)
@taneka Yeah! It's been so good to see all the new stuff in only the last few years we've been open, titles from Boom or Oni or even Image.

Hm, I'm curious if there are titles/publishers you feel /are/ trying to be less authentic and more bandwagon-jumping?
(At a guess I'd say the ones with no queer creators involved, but that can be hard to tell sometimes.)
