I had the same feeling, though not very often, regarding the second Blade Runner film. I /loved/ the soundtrack work overall. It was amazing. But I felt like the one point they start playing "Tears In Rain" was unearned, and I hope the composer or director put that in under protest by request of studio execs. :-/
