Also I really do love that they did a remake of the original "Build, Fly, Dream" fan trailer.

Excited for new star systems. Excited for magnetic and other futuristic propulsion. Looking forward to building bases that don't just sit there looking pretty and useless.

Hoping it looks anything near as good as the trailer. Especially that Jool texture, wow.

I was playing KSP since version 0.8.

That was before there was a moon. Before the map screen. Before time warp. Before RCS. Before the runway and space center. Before these newfangled 2m and 3m parts. Back when the atmosphere was a brick wall that ended at 35km.

Also I'm nostalgic about the Deep Space Kraken, where ships would shake themselves apart because floating point math is hard.

I'm still not sure I fully philosophically agree with the auto-strut feature.

Yeah it makes rockets look nicer but what's more kerbal than a rocket held together with duct tape.

It should have been a mid to high-level tech unlock so you could build sleek rockets but only after having learned to apply the Space Tape yourself.

Also I feel a little sad for people who missed the golden age of Asparagus Staging, after fuel lines were introduced but before the really big tanks and engines were available.
