Dream (disturbing)
I had a dream that it was dark out, nobody knew what time it was, none of my devices could tell me...
so I checked YouTube, and there was a collaboration video from a couple of cooking channels where they were showing how to cook a ferret. And the ferret they started with had been flayed and gently roasted, but still alive, and lurching around, blind and in agony. And I tried reporting the video as animal cruelty but everyone called me a snowflake. And finally I saw that it was 10:50 AM.
So I shut down my computer and went outside, and it was dark because everything was on fire, everything was burning, the sky filled with smoke and fire. The streets were full of people stoking the flames and trying to trying to destroy what was left, and I took photos of it on my phone, and posted them on Instagram, and my mom replied saying it was such a shame and implied it was all my fault.
ah, evolution, apparently. https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2019/08/mystery-solved-why-cats-eat-grass
@codl Hey now every Krita contributor who added a screenshot to that page is very proud of what they've done
@chimerror I think we might be talking cross-purposes
What you have isn’t a “static web app,” it’s a website. Which is the way most websites should be.
I really really dislike the appification of the web.
@chimerror I mean that's not 'a web app' that's an app that runs in a browser
@chimerror pure client-side statefulness? ugh
@matt i hate this
haha wow they literally used a generic furnace filter as a prop, you just don't see that on Discovery
I'm finally spending more time with Star Trek: Enterprise and like... gosh, the stories were way more interesting than anything they did in Picard. Or even Discovery.
New Trek definitely is missing a lot of what makes Star Trek Star Trek.
Enterprise does suffer a lot from over-reliance on half-baked CG effects, but at least they're using it to tell stories, rather than just spectacle.
