Hi everyone! I've moved to @ftl@wandering.shop now - please follow me there instead, I don't plan on updating here anymore!
@aldeka And it was so humid, too...
I finally "finished" the #art piece I've been working on since reading How to Do Nothing! Heavily inspired by an artist mentioned in the book, Hallie Bateman.
Hey, I found your missing Oxford comma. Just LOOK what it's been up to.

re: Finances, fuck credit btw
@bedap@sunbeam.city If you pay off your credit card IN FULL each month, having a credit card is good: you pay no interest, improve your credit score, possibly get some minor cash back or reward points.
If you do NOT pay off full balance each month, the interest rates are extortionate, and you will be screwed, fast.
The hardest credit card to get is the first one, when you have no credit history. Many "starter" credit cards have either an annual fee or require a security deposit, and will probably have a low limit until you've made a bunch of payments on time. You can internet-search to find the best options.
How will landlords ever learn to be productive members of society if they're hooked on free money from hardworking Americans? Eventually the free ride will end. We have to break this cycle of dependency.
In general, if you have any specific questions about:
1) Cooking, including breadmaking, yogurt and cheesemaking, and fermentation
2) Gardening, especially urban and guerrilla, as well as composting, vermiculture, soil remediation, and apiculture
3) Workplace organization and unionization
4) Emacs or Elisp
5) Protesting or Direct Action
I am probably happy to help answer them!
Please, always feel free to ask. Not just one question, I'll be your tutor in any or all these topics.

This would make a good board book.
"Welcome," the interviewer said, "please have a seat."
"Thank you."
"Right, as you know time engineering is still in its-"
"-early days, yes. Only invented a year ago."
"We are looking for an experienced engineer."
"I've got five years' experience in the field."
"Excellent!"

The ancient mound lies dark. At the autumn equinox sunrise, a ray of light shoots through a small hole, illuminating a book on a stand in the centre.
Those assembled there read, and as the light fades again they turn the page, ready for next year.
Some stories should be savoured.
