@InvaderXan paris is pretty awesome
@aldeka Sort of. I think I've never seen a case where a feature was shelved because "we didn't know how to do it". But I've seen plenty of cases of: "Dunno how to fix it. Rewrite from scratch a different way?" "Dunno why it sometimes fails. Put it in a try/catch, retry a second time, and if it still fails, move on?" "Tests occasionally fail, but the thing seems to work? Solution: change the test." And of course "Bug would take X time fix. That's too much work, so guess it's going unfixed."
@Elizafox That's a tough choice
@natecull Obvious answer to #1 - because the people you want to talk to are on twitter, not on some blog platform.
From a user's point of view, the audience is 99% of what distinguishes the different sites, not the format. You can write the same stuff on twitter or facebook or medium or anywhere, it's just a question of who you're talking to.
@magicalmilly definitely don’t give up the first job in hopes of the second. Bird in the hand, etc. If you haven’t signed the offer yet then go to the second interview and see what you can get, multiple offers to compare is always good.

Last year I'd hurt my ankle about two weeks before the start of the season and missed most of it. The year before I'd gotten iirc a minor calf muscle strain, again within the first week or two. (That took just a week or two to heal, as should this week's injury.)
This is so annoying. Getting old sucks.
It's not because I didn't warm up or stretch enough. I hurt it midway through the second set. It's not because I play defensively and run a lot of balls down. I hurt it just going for a serve.
