Part of me is thinking, "Okay, gotta purge _that_ from my repertoire of Silly Songs' Opening Lines What Can Be Sung For Laughs (I have a lot of those!) because it's racist bullshit."

The other part is thinking, "Has the cartoon managed to completely de-fang any racism in the song by associating it more strongly with absurdity? Has it been long enough that it's safe to quote the cartoon without regard to the song's origins?"

I'll err on the side of the former, anyhow.
