when people are ill-advised enough to ask what my religion/spirituality is, I say "polypantheistic Zen Discordian agnostic-humanist," which basically means "I may or may not believe in a variety of godlike things but I don't think it really matters as long as people are taken care of and stuff gets done, y'know?"
@AdalwinAmillion oh yes! also Ma'at is--the deity-incarnation of "the way," a very Tao-like concept without actually being Tao at all. Ma'at also means "truth" and "continuity." :) ancient Etyptian religion/spirituality is really neat!
@green it is quite interesting, indeed! and really earned itself a place in our popculture.
@green Throw in "Bokononist" and "plush shaman" and that's basically me. <3 Hit me up for a talk about neurotheology next time we meet up!
@zebratron2084 oooOOOoh, yesyes! next week sometime? ;)
@green Sure, towards the end okay? Friday or Saturday would work out great!
@zebratron2084 Friday sounds good, at Chaco Canyon? let me know what timeframe works for you, I'll probably bring my laptop and get there early to try getting some rewriting done. LOL *sigh*
@green Probably like early afternoonish? :) If you don't mind making it a little bit of a workdate, any time would probably be fine!
@zebratron2084 that's perfect, since I'll be working on my thingy anyway. *fistbump*
@green And then there are the egyptian gods, which made those ancient people extremely furry-like.
