three good things

re:lrb: that does seem like a good habit to get into. I was originally told it was "three things to be thankful for," but (me being me) it immediately devolved into asking exactly who I'm supposed to be thankful to, and being unsatisfied with "well it's a general spiritual thing." I just... don't work well with that. XD but I can definitely list three good things!

three good things (includes food mention)

1. the walk to the store and back was nice; since it wasn't raining I was able to get through a good chunk of the book I'm currently reading.
2. while out I had an indulgence of a Menchie's sundae thing!
3. ummm.... I'll think of something! XD

three good things (includes food mention)

3. I made Spouse a cup of vanilla chamomile tea and he said it actually helped! (he's been on a new medication and the side effects are becoming hellish; we have an appointment to talk to the dr. and get it changed Thursday)

three good things

@green

1. I got paid today, even though...well, ya know, money.

2. I had a lot of time to myself at work.

3. I doodled on a scrap of cardboard

three good things

@green yeah! this is a good idea, i think, just daily reflections of positivity to center yourself and keep practicing having that good perspective!

a take i had on this for a while was to do like a 'self care selfie''; start working on things that made me feel good, then take a selfie that i was proud of *during* self care, then post that with a couple of things i was doing for myself! not a thing for everyone, just thinking bout different ways to acknowledge good feelings :3
