@Elizafox The effort is what's important, in my view. (I completely disagree with Yoda: try, or try not. There is no "do".)
I have a cup of coffee sitting next to me on my desk and have not even had a single sip yet rar rar rar rar rar
also one of the cats just farted, oh Crowyote help me, they are both hanging out behind my desk next to the space heater so it's right there and uuugggghhhh okay turning on the box fan now O____O
here's a picture of Pooka enjoying his new warm nap spot. he's still in it, a little more tightly curled up. XD #cats @cats@kitty.town https://awoo.space/media/rspt2d1zj1_hF3Fk3Mg
I pulled one of the cat beds that Pooka has been ignoring entirely out of the closet (where he spent a lot of time hiding when we first brought him home, but now he hardly ever goes in there) and put it next to the baseboard heater in the bedroom. he sniffed it, but didn't seem terribly interested.
that was ten minutes ago. now he's kneading and purring so loud I can hear him over my computer and the dishwasher. XD and making little donuts to find the perfect nap spot...

WoW/computer performance griping
yeah, it's definitely something wrong with how the computer is dealing with WoW; when the game is running everything is sluggish, but as soon as I exit everything speeds up again. *sigh* welp...
WoW/computer performance griping
with my graphic setting on 3 out of 10, I should be getting more than 9 frames per second. if I turn the setting down to 1 I can get up to 29! and my computer is still making sad sounds. I don't know what's going on but it doesn't seem good. :( I've backed up my files to an external drive... that's about all I can do, and hope. and get used to using my laptop all the time because that seems to be what's gonna happen soon...
