@CoronaCoreanici One interesting observation I saw someone make once (forget who) is that lighter-side-of-furry wolves tend to be all "rawr I"m big and have sharp claws and teeth", but people on the more kin/therian end are usually something like "kinda anxious/twitchy and don't like being separated from their pack"

@starkatt Yes, all this. Another thing I related to back in my wolf days was the villainous reputation vs the timid/prosocial reality.

It's actually interesting to note that the bad rep has waned a lot since the 90's, with Wolf As Noble Conservation Icon gaining a lot more currency.

... And now it occurs to me that in the same time, it's become increasingly common for coyotes to be frowned at as the dangerous intrusion of wildness into human-occupied areas.
