@Oneironott 'boy' is one of my favorite terms of endearment to hear currently, partially I think because it still feels kinda transgressive? Transgressive and affirming at the same time?

I definitely get that :) I definitely wouldnt have gotten the same reaction if it was “man” or something. With boy, theres bits of queer reclamation in there perhaps

@Oneironott Yeah exactly! Well honestly 'man' also has some human-implications there too that like, 'boy' and 'dude' and stuff don't. ;)
