Like, people who are able to just "play around" with something -- especially at work -- to see what they can do with it are kind of alien to me.
And it's all but destroyed any chance I had of being a writer up until now. I'm still working on it, but man...it sucks.
You know, it's kind of insane to me that I'm still battling the perfectionist tendencies that came from being a "gifted and talented kid" when I was younger.
Even though I burned out in high school, I still have this high anxiety response if I can't get it right the first time.
