This is one of the songs I listen to when I need to feel more connected to the world around me:
Catching up on Lovecraft Country, on episode 8 (the Emmitt Till one). I don’t know if the show gets more assured as it goes, but it marries black geekdom and trauma beautifully. So many characters say things I felt but had no words for. I feel seen, and that’s powerful.
