The worst thing? I'm not even working as hard as MOST of my colleagues. So I feel simultaneously slighted AND guilty
Like, I don't mind the work, and I even recognize the need for it, but it feels like having the football lifted right before I kick it. It's just an extra slap on top of the past two months of craziness
Is it weird that hearing our team is considered "business critical" and thus ineligible for the sudden extra day off on Friday really saps my desire to work right now, even though I was planning to work at least half that day anyway
