I don't have any expectation of the current President or any of his supporters to do the right thing.
But folks, please take a moment to condemn white supremacy, check in on your POC friends, neighbors, and coworkers...and be kind as much as you possibly can.
I didn't watch the debate last night, and I'm not going to watch clips today. But just knowing that the President not only refused to condemn white supremacy but appeared to give *orders* to a known right-wing terrorist org is low-key terrifying.
My sister would have been 38 years old today had she not died of despair. That's why social justice is so important to me. The conditions that cause systemic racism killed my sister, and would blame her for her own death.
I feel like my entire storytelling career is leading up to a high-fantasy version of Twin Peaks, but I have so much to learn before I get there >.<
