Just heard about @ThornAppleCider@twitter.com and I'm stunned. He was such a friendly and open soul.
My deepest sympathies to everyone reeling in grief from this loss. Please look out for each other; you never know what people are going through.
It helps that two of your party members are basically PA furries: Borman, the mutant boar and Dux, the mutant...duck.
Not the most creative naming convention, but the characters and setting are pretty cool!
Taking a break from Skyrim to play Mutant Year Zero, which is more of a tactical RPG than anything. Not familiar with XCOM and the like, but I'm enjoying it so far!
It's hard but not in a demoralizing way. I like that it forces you to think about everything you have to win.
I sincerely wish it were possible to appreciate....anything about myself, but we live in a society that constantly tells me, in ways large and small, that I am unworthy of success or love and it's my own fault.
And my brain has internalized this as a mantra that never stops

I am doing research for a book chapter and I think it worth noting publicly that the science shows pretty clearly that appreciating your body, no matter what it looks like or what size/shape it is, is really good for you.
It is, in fact, better for you than dieting.
