I mean, I realize that we could be in a fascist hellscape by then or I might be in some camp because I'm the wrong color, religion, sexuality, etc. but I'm choosing to be optimistic.
By 40 I want to be more open and accepting. I want to be able to deal with difficult people.
My *checks his calendar* 39th birthday is coming up soon, and I'm starting to think about all the stuff I'd like to have accomplished by 40. I want August 2020 to be a...culmination of sorts, of recovering from all the trauma I've endured earlier in life.
