Never forget that Juneteenth is not the day enslaved people were emancipated but the day when formerly enslaved people in Texas finally learned about emancipation a full two-and-a-half years after the proclamation. The slavists kept them working for free the whole time.

Made it through season 4 of Community, aka "the gas leak year". It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and there were maybe two or three actually decent episodes in there.
