If you read between the lines, the guy fell foul of Microsoft's Licence agreement. You see, Microsoft run their licenced refurbisher program. You have to take an exam, enter COA details and who knows what else.
If he wanted to avoid trouble, he could have just stuck with Linux and he could have avoided a 15-month prision term, which seems light in comparison to many..but still a lot for essentially a white-collar crime.

The biggest areas of concern at the palmrest and the back cover for the LCD assembly. The LCD itself is mucky, but some cleaning should make it look better. The palmrest and the back LCD assembly panel seem to have broken plastic. Plenty of screws later, and I have them off. Lenovo don't make it easy, huh?

Looks like Sergio Chiodo can rest easy now, since MineSweeper is gone from Windows 10..unless he's still angry at microsoft for releasing such an OS, and not to mention that everyone and their dog has programed the game, telling him to fuck off on pain of the US getting involed..again.
