I managed to cheese my way out of EX mode and use the mimic desync to get Add's full scepter this morning, and then used that to clear the impossible stage in the trailer stages easter egg.

Normally you can only really reach this by editing your save file, but it was pretty satisfying being able to do it without that, even if it required using a clearly not-intended trick.

Erasure's sign off in this path is just... absolutely beautiful and feels like such a sweet send-off to Void Stranger. Trying to rephrase or summarize it just doesn't feel like it does it any justice.

"I thought that last puzzle was impossible."
"Maybe I was mistaken."
"Of course I expected someone to eventually find this place."
"I wouldn't be here otherwise."
"This world has reached its limit."
"It's time for something new."
"It may take a while, but I hope to see you there."
"So until then..."
(Mask cracks with glass breaking sound effect, revealing Erasure smiling underneath it)

It then goes black and plays the generic void sounds, and the only thing you can do is hold escape to close the game, at which point the message "Remember this longing..." shows.

I will once again reiterate that Void Stranger is way too powerful of a game and I genuinely cannot believe that it exists, but am thankful that it does.
