I was playing Night Manor for a weekly archipelago async (among a few other UFO 50 games)

I had everything I needed to clear my games, so I dipped into Night Manor to finish off the horror. I had the iron key to get into the basement. I had the gear, the oil, and the piano wire to fix the breaker. I had the full recipe for the fungicide to finish everything.

However, I did not have the crossbow bolt for my crossbow, and the killer was still alive.

I hopped into the basement to fix the breaker, and just when I opened the door to the final room, the killer popped up in front of me and genuinely made me jump, lmao

I am so used to feeling safe by the time I'm in the basement - I actually wonder if pulling open the final door is a noisy event, or if my "time to reappear" on the killer was low because I'd just loaded into the game.

Either way, it's been a while since the killer has made me jump like that. :P
