That all depends on how agreeable other synthetic life behaves. In game-theory terms, KA operates on a "Cooperate default, Retaliate second, return to cooperate" basis.
In terms of compatibility, Negotiation is the key! KA will happily share communication specs, transmit rates and frequencies (like modems handshaking) with anyone who wants them, and is happy to fab up compatible transmitters if needed. She might not give trusted access or fully authorized Packnet crypto-keys to any cute node that requests, but they're willing to give almost anyone a shot. But she has a long memory, and violating her trust can come with serious consequences. AXIOS-sized ones if needed.
