Other complaining about technology

My mice have a habit of acting in very stupid ways.

My Logitech Performance MX has worked flawlessly on my MacMini for Months. And all of a sudden last week, it decides it wants to freeze and not respond, at random. So, I buy a refurbished one, thinking that Mouse is just old and dying (i've had her for something like 3-4 years, and I use tech HARD) New Mouse shows up, and it keeps having the same issue. I do some digging, and apparently, the Unifying receiver just doesn't play nice with USB 3? Like.. what? Then why did it work just fine when I first switched to the Mini?

So now I'm on the hunt for a Mac compatible mouse that has 4 thumb buttons with assignable functions (preferably separated by application) and horizontal scrolling.

Why don't computers ever make glitching sense?
