just played a demo for an old school fps style game and I think I screamed irl when I found out the hard way that you have to reload each magnum bullet manually
@fluxom_alt Can you just hit reload a bunch of times before starting to fire again?

@kelseyhusky oh no you get other guns later. Like the next one I got was an autorifle that reloads like I expected, and then after that I got a shotgun that also reloads per shell, and then I got a chaingun that I didn't really think about reloading much because it has such a deep ammo pool and usually cleared the room first
@kelseyhusky oh but the shotgun was really cool!!! 'cause like, usually videogame shotguns have hard falloff on damage over distance but this one doesn't so you can fire it down a hallway and sweep up mobs with the pellet spray nbd
@kelseyhusky yeah, it turns out the intended way is just spamming that reload button like six or seven times and every time you push the button they put another bullet in the gun.
