A little bit of a rant about Mastodon etiquette
Some things that bug me about how people use Mastodon:
1) Please don't overuse CWs. They're not intended for categorising toots or hiding crossposts. It becomes a pain to use Masto when every other toot is behind an unnecessary CW.
2) Make CWs verbose. If I can't understand what it's meant to mean, it fails to serve as a warning.
3) That's literally it actually.
A little bit of a rant about Mastodon etiquette
For context, eight of the last ten toots on my timeline were behind CWs.
None of them contained anything likely to require a CW (mostly talking about non-spoiler video game stuff and meta discussion about Mastodon itself.)
