for productivity youll likely want a ryzen 3000-based desktop system. i can help you with parts if you have a budget in mind.
if you really want portability you can get a cheapo thin and light and use anydesk to access your newly upgraded desktop over the internet. if you really want a laptop youre looking at 150-200% of the price for the same parts
@envgen better for productivity, cheaper and less power intensive; less vulnerable to attacks like meltdown and specter. intel is complacent and their 2020 plan ( no joke) is to pay people to lie about their products being better and bribe OEMs to use intel over AMD
@envgen intel physically cannot manufacture anything resembling a ryzrn 3000. their processes are too archaic and expensive
