inifnity war spoilers i know it's fiction but a lot of people seem to think thanos is right and i kind of disagree
50% of a genocide doesn't fix any of the problems present in his universe, it just postpones them until depopulation. Even without the glove thanos still would've been powerful enough to fix all of those problems with minimal blood spilled. He just didn't want to consider any other solutions and half the universe was an acceptable price for his intellectual cowardice
