Spent a bunch of time making a helmet out of tin foil and tape so I could use it to try to make a template out of paper to cut out foam pieces to glue into a foam helmet
a few hours and a minor bit of stressing later I realized I should just glue fabric over the model I made

yeah, go easy! rush it! rebuild things for the next con! it's all about the learning.
@leafnoodle Yeah, I've got a lot of the materials laid out but have barely anything actually assembled. I did not really plan this one out.
@leafnoodle No joke, a big part of the experience so far has been "just go simpler for your first time around, you only left yourself a week to make it anyways, don't stress yourself out"
