@Ratttz My biggest complaint with most forms of currency is that the method of getting it is usually tied to some form of universal scarcity model that privileges some subset of workers suites to cope with that scarcity, which creates class ex nihilo. You can have time-based currency, but not everyone gets paid the same for the same work under that model because of skills variance. UBI theoretically fixes that, but you'd want a robust gift economy backing it.
