Especially since, OMG, "You can no longer use your Patreon balance to make pledge payments to avoid the per-pledge processing fee."
@literorrery @christi3k @green I'm not sure that's true; I believe part of the Liberapay deal is that they're in Europe and have different regulatory requirements. (I believe that's also why they didn't handle payments in US dollars until very recently.)
As @audrey pointed out this week, Liberapay doesn't try to educate people on effective crowdfunding techniques, so that's a weakness. But, I don't think it shares Patreon's problems!
