@irisjaycomics @skolli@mastodon.social I found you can whisk some flour into eggs and basically make egg-burgers. =O.O=
@irisjaycomics @skolli@mastodon.social I typically ended up using a lot of eggs so what I got was basically a firm omelette sandwich, but I also season the hell out of it and I'm okay with the texture of that, so, like, YMMV. Also, black beans would be amazing in that, as would TVP barely rehydrated with vegetable broth and liquid smoke (which I think is still safe if you make it right?).
@irisjaycomics @skolli@mastodon.social I miss cayenne pepper. =;.;=
@irisjaycomics @skolli@mastodon.social Oh, I've got plenty of workarounds. You just rattled off an awesome-sounding blend of spices and I had a moment of lamentation, is all. Black pepper/cumin/oregano/cinnamon/orange has become one of my new go-tos for flavoring stuff to give it a sweet-spicy kick. That and garam masala, which can amazingly be made without capsaicin. =o.o=
@irisjaycomics @skolli@mastodon.social I can totally see that! Peanut butter makes an excellent base for both Thai and Indian dishes.
