@makyo Talk with @KoBunny! I'm sure he can hook you up with starter kits. ^v^

... or is that not the kind of help you need? >v>

@orrery @KoBunny I'm trying to decide if getting back into it (after 18 years away) is a good idea @.@

@makyo @orrery It can be really fun times! Dunno if this helps, but there is a prerelease for the next set (Guilds of Ravnica) at the end of September. I know a lot of folks who attend one of those as a way to test the waters.

That said, if you need to brush up on the rules, there’s also a learn to play event called the magic open house a week before that.

@makyo @orrery they should be or I maybe goofed and didn’t put them up. But just in caaaase:

Open House is September 22 from 12-4.
Prerelease is September 29-30th.

@makyo ....well you know one friendly local store! Well, not local to you as much, but still. :-)

If you need me to tell you not to, I could do that, too. :-)

@emanate There's like a whole mall full of stores just around the bend, but I'll still probably go to Phoenix because I know y'all are cool, and I have no idea about these other places ^^

@makyo @kauko Seeing the numbers fly because I'm working the register when people are buying cards is what saves me from getting into playing it.
(Even if I did buy a whole box of Unstable, for theme and for later playing-with.)

@QyenidQuartz Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Just something to get out of the house and play, not turn it into a serious cardbuying habit (only a half-serious one c.c)
