I finally stumbled across that "Mercy vs Medic" video and uh I disagree on so many levels
@noiob I've been actively avoiding this video, but I assume it argues that everyone appreciated the Medic in TF2 and didn't yell at them for not constantly healing them or blame them if they died?
@dickmandrake nah that's a problem all healers have in every game ever, it's more about the character. For example, Mercy is not the only healer in the game, but arguably the easiest (at least from a mechanical standpoint), so whenever she gets less viable people are gonna yell at their healer to switch to a different healer.
comparing TF2 and Overwatch is the first mistake, then there always will be bias as to what game the person doing the comparison likes better (which is blatantly obvious in the video), also the blatant disregard for Overwatch being designed to be fun at every skill level… I could probably make my own 20 minute video just responding to the original one
